Heat Resistance
204℃>1000hr, 232℃>3000hr, 250℃>1000hr, 287℃>240hr, 325℃>48hr。
Operating temperature range: – 25℃ ― +250℃
Physical Properties
Tear Resistance -ternary FKM shows better tear resistance than binary FKM at room temperature and high temperature.
Elasticity -similar between ternary and binary FKM, but for static or dynamic modulus, ternary FKM is better
Wear Resistance - ternary FKM is slightly better than binary FKM.
Low Temperature Characteristics -brittleness temperature of ternary FKM is lower than binary FKM, but low temperature flexibility of binary FKM is better than ternary FKM.
Chemical Resistance
Better resistance to more than 300 kinds of chemical degradation than any other kinds of rubber. Show good Oil and fuel resistance, lubricant resistance , most mineral acids resistance. Resisting aliphatic hydrocarbons and aromatic hydrocarbons which cause volume swelling to other rubber. Low flammability. Excellent resistance to atmospheric oxidation, sunlight and weather resistant properties. Excellent anti-mold and anti-fungal properties. For a wide range of material, including a variety of fuels, low permeability.
Water Vapor Resistance
Peroxide vulcanized rubber can work for long term in vapor under 230℃. |
